The 5 step process

As a SFEDI-qualified and experienced business adviser and coach, I can support you with elements of your venture that go deeper than design alone. This includes your marketing and branding strategies which are potentially critical to success.

Step 1

• You contact me
• We discuss your project in depth
• If we feel that we are a good fit for each other, I send you a detailed quote with a production timeline
• If you agree the quote, you pay a £200 deposit if you want to book me

Step 2

• We discuss the finer details of your project in the context of the design process, including your marketing strategy - I can support you with this if required. Your marketing strategy will inform several elements comprising the website design process, such as:

✅ The design
✅ Structure
✅ UX (how users interact with your website)
✅ Content (text and image)

We will also discuss your branding strategy, and I can support you with this if required. These elements influence how your target audience will feel about your brand, and ultimately engage with your offer:

✅ Business name
✅ Styling
✅ Colour palette
✅ Tone of voice
✅ Images

• I get to work
• You send me the content I need to populate your website, or I begin to create this for you if it is within the scope of the quote

Step 3

• I send you progress videos to inform you of each stage of development. These also help you understand how the platform works and opens a collaborative process between us, allowing you to use the platform during development to upload and manage content
• We will communicate via email, phone, online meeting or in person throughout

Step 4

• When the design process is complete, we will thoroughly test your website to ensure that the functionality meets your expectations
• Any pre-launch amendments will be made

Step 5

• Your video training package is sent to you via email along with a sign-off form and final invoice. My bite-sized videos will ensure that you feel confident and empowered to manage multiple aspects of your website, such as:

✅ Control over key design elements
✅ Management of all content
✅ Creating content
✅ Backup management

• Your website is published when the sign-off form and final payment is received, and all account details passed to you for complete ownership
